Tech company looks to bring taxi app to US

A tech start-up from London, named Hailo, has raised $17 million to bring a taxi tracking app to the United States.

Just tap a key in the app, and it alerts a cabbie and tells you how long it will take him to reach you.

Hailo hopes to launch in New York in the next three to six months.
