Investigators say 22-year-old Rahmeek Younger, of Brooklyn, had a .38-caliber handgun on a southbound C train just after 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Anti-crime transit officers who were on the train say they noticed Younger nervously fidgeting with his pocket.
They arrested him at the Canal Street station, but not until after Younger put up a fight.
Officers were able to subdue him, and a search of his jacket revealed the fully-loaded weapon.
Younger is charged with criminal possession of a weapon, obstructing government administration, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
