Police search for suspects in Astoria mugging spree

Police in Queens are looking for the public's help in stopping what they call a mugging spree.

Surveillance video shows the suspects who investigators say approached people in Astoria in three separate incidents.

The first time, they allegedly hit a man with a baseball bat and stole his cell phone.

The second time, police say they showed a knife and took cash.

In the third incident, they hit a man and made off with unknown property.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
