The first incident happened on Tuesday, March 14 at around 1:45 p.m. at the Chase Bank on Broadway.
The suspect, a black man dressed as a woman, approached a female victim.
The suspect then identified himself as a cop, removed the victim's wallet from her purse and proceeded to take the victim's Chase debit card before fleeing the scene.
The suspect was described as a black man dressed as a woman in his 30s, approximately 5-foot-5 and between 125 and 130 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a white sweater, blue jeans and a black fanny pack with a gold shield on his belt.
Earlier that same day, at noon, authorities say the suspect entered Harlem Hospital and identified himself as a police officer.
He then displayed a shield and gained access to the administrative offices of the hospital.
He did not remove any property before leaving the building.
