It happened last Tuesday, April 19, inside of a McDonald's located at 181-25 Hillside Avenue in Flushing, Queens.
According to police, the suspect entered the restaurant at some point that night and hid in the bathroom. When the restaurant closed, the suspect then exited the bathroom wearing a mask and produced a black semi-automatic handgun. He forced two of the three workers into the freezer and the remaining worker to the safe. After gaining access to the safe, the suspect then removed money and flex cuffed the remaining worker.
The suspect then took off on Avon Street, police said. He is described as a black man, approximately 28 to 33 years old, standing 6-feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He has long black hair and was last seen wearing a black ski mask, blue hooded sweatshirt and blue pants.
