Images released of suspects in elevator robbery

NEW YORK

The incident happened last Sunday just before noon.

The 44-year-old victim found himself cornered by the two men inside an elevator at 29-70 West 27th Street.

Both men had guns, and they got away with the victim's cell phone.

The victim attempted follow the suspects, at which time both displayed firearms and pointed them at the victim. Both suspects then fled the location. There were no injuries to the victim.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 25 years old, with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black zip up sweatshirt, a dark ski cap, light colored pants and black shoes.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 21 old, also with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with green stripes down the arms, a white hoody underneath, blue jeans and red sneakers.
