The victim picked Dioubate out. Suddenly, he was looking at four years in prison.
Dioubate thought it was all a joke. However, it was no joke. Dioubate, an amateur boxer, spent the next four days in jail until his parents raised the ten thousand dollar bail and hired an attorney.
Defense Attorney William Ezersky believed Dioubate. Surveillance camera video was found of Dioubate at a restaurant in Manhattan when the victim was getting robbed. Just like the case of Karl Vanderwoude, who was accused of groping young women in Manhattan. Vanderwoude, too was cleared with surveillance camera video.
