The first two holdups targeted drivers making food deliveries in /*Middletown*/. Police say phony orders were placed from addresses along Rowan Street. When the deliverymen arrived, two men wearing hoods or bandanas robbed them.
In the third incident, a cab from syndicate taxi service was called to the same area. The driver was also robbed, but by a single suspect. Sarah Coates works for another cab company and says police have warned them to be on alert.
The final incident occurred over the weekend and involved a motorist who was flagged down by a male and a female. A gun was fired, but no one was hit.
With no solid description police have increased their presence in the neighborhood.
