Police in Brooklyn are investigating a violent attack inside a branch of the New York Public Library.

One man remains hospitalized after he was stabbed, possibly because he was looking at pornography on the library computer.

Detectives are still trying to piece together what led to the bloody attack. The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Brooklyn Heights branch.

Police say a homeless man, identified as 46-year-old Ralph Neptune, stabbed another man in the neck and chest after accusing him of having racy images on the computer.

An argument ensued, the 52-year-old victim was attacked. He is being treated for non-life threatening injuries at Bellevue Hospital.

Neptune is charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and possession of marijuana.

Police say he has 14 prior arrests.

Then investigation continues, but authorities say that at this point, they aren't even sure the victim was looking at porn.
