New guidelines issued to protect yourself from the sun

Just in time for summer, there are new guidelines on protecting yourself from the sun.

The nonprofit Environmental Working Group found that only 25 percent of the 800 sunscreens it tested are entirely effective and safe.

The report says sunscreens labeled "broad spectrum" are the best choices to protect skin.

Those products guard against UVA and UVB rays, both of which have been found to cause skin cancer.
