Police were originally called to Mesivta Tifereth Jerusalem K-12 school at 145 East Broadway for a report of two kids on an opposite roof with a rifle. As cops searched the area, a shot was fired. A custodian at PS 2, located around the corner, was hit with a BB gun.
As police were knocking on doors inside the opposite roof on 135 Henry Street, they found a 2nd floor apartment with two teens inside and a cache of weapons which included a blow dart gun, nun chucks, two BB rifles and knives. They were taken into custody.
Police are waiting on a search warrant to search the rest of the apartment.
