Study finds coffee may delay Alzheimer's disease

NEW YORK

That's the findings of researchers at the University of South Florida and the University of Miami.

Higher doses of caffeine appears to cause a delay in the onset of Alzheimer's -- even in older patients who show early signs of the disease.

Researchers say that suggests that drinking about three cups of java a day could help hold off Alzheimer's.

The study is published in the "Journal of Alzheimer's Disease."
