Westchester group home worker charged with rape

WHITE PLAINS

Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore says a 14-count indictment names Anthony Fontaine of Tuckahoe.

He worked as a driver and resident counselor at the Ossining House, a residential group home for disabled adults.

The prosecutor says Fontaine is accused of numerous sex attacks, including the rape of a woman who lived in the facility in 2011.

The indictment was sealed Wednesday.

Bail was set at $75,000. His next court appearance is July 3.

If convicted, he could face up to 25 years in prison on each of the top counts of the indictment.
