Suspect targeting women in Bronx box cutter robberies

Police in the Bronx are searching for a man accused of robbing four women in the last four weeks.

A surveillance image shows the man police say confronted the women in the stairways and elevators of apartment buildings.

In each incident, he allegedly threatened his victim with a box cutter before robbing her.

The incidents happened in the Concourse, Mount Eden and Kingsbridge Heights neighborhoods.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 25 to 30 years old, standing 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-10, with a slender build, light skin complexion, bald head and light blue or green eyes.

The suspect also has a tattoo on his right forearm.
