Man accused of impersonating ICE agent appears in court

PORT JEFFERSON STATION

David Bradley is accused of pretending to be an immigration officer when he arrested a teenager early this month following a road rage incident in Port Jefferson Station.

Police say the 39-year-old Bradley stopped the motorist last Sunday, activating emergency lights and identifying himself as a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent.

Police say Bradley handcuffed the motorist and took him to his home in Port Jefferson Station, then took the handcuffs off after about five minutes and returned the 19-year-old to his vehicle.

Bradley was later arrested on charges including unlawful imprisonment after he showed up at a police precinct on Monday to complain about the incident.

Police say Bradley also used his fake badge in the past to try and enter a real crime scene.
