A case of road rage turned into a brutal beating in California.

Despite numerous witnesses, no one did anything to try and stop it.

An argument between two drivers in erupted into a fight. Jerry Patterson, 50, was dragged to the ground, punched and kicked multiple times.

People drove by and blew their horns, with at least one person video taping the brawl, but no one intervened.

Finally, one man stopped taping and walked over to help the victim after the attackers drove off.

The California Highway Patrol confirms that two people have been taken into custody in connection to the incident.

Officials said Edras Ramirez, 27, and David Mendez, 21, turned themselves in Wednesday evening. They were booked for assault with a deadly weapon.

Patterson refused medical attention and left the scene shortly after the altercation, officials said. Despite suffering a concussion, Patterson told Eyewitness News that he does not want to press charges, saying, "I'm done with it, I've moved on. The guys I grew up with used to beat me up worse than that, so it's no big deal."
