Bird strike forces New York-bound flight to land

A plane on its way to New York from Florida had to make an emergency landing after a bird strike.

JetBlue Flight 580 was headed to Westchester from Palm Beach International Airport when it was hit by a bird right after takeoff.

The plane had to turn around and land in Palm Beach.

There were no injuries, and the passengers made it to White Plains late last night.
