Wisconsin man rescues cat hung from dam

A cat in Wisconsin has an opportunity to live out the rest of his nine lives after being rescued.

Gino Bulek was walking through a park when he noticed a cat hanging from a rope on a dam.

"I wasn't sure it was a cat at first, but I knew it was an animal," he said. "And I thought it might have just crawled in there, and it was stuck. And I knew I couldn't just leave it there. It looked like it was close to death."

He used a fishing net to rescue the cat, which Bulek believes may have been intentionally hanged there.

Bulek named the cat Lucky and plans to adopt him once he's recovered. Lucky is currently resting at the Humane Society.
