7 hurt when van crashes into Bridgewater home

A van carrying day laborers crashed into a house in New Jersey Thursday morning, injuring at least seven people.

Authorities say the van driver careened off Garretson Road in Bridgewater, through a front yard and into the front of a house at around 6:45 a.m.

As many as seven occupants of the van were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick with non-life threatening injuries.

The house did not appear to sustain serious damage.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
