A bus fire on 495 heading out of New York City caused massive delays at the Lincoln Tunnel on Thursday. In addition, a truck fire caused delays on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Passengers from the bus were seen from Newscopter 7 standing on the side of the road.

The bus was an MTA Express Bus to Staten Island. It happened just after 5 p.m.

Nobody on the bus was injured.

Just after 6 p.m. all lanes reopened on 495.

There was also a delay heading out of New York City.

The truck caught fire as it attempted to exit to the Vince Lombardi rest area and has resulted in all lanes of the western spur being blocked.
