Authorities are on the scene of a wall collapse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan Friday afternoon.

Three workers were injured in the collapse, which happened on East 62nd Street, between 2nd and 3rd avenues just before noon.

Crews were working on the five-story building when the back portion collapsed, causing beams and windows to come crashing down top the ground.

Firefighters could be seen on the top floor.

The workers were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Nearby streets were shut down during the investigation.

The cause of the collapse is unknown at this time.
