Arrest made in Staten Island train station shooting

NEW YORK

Police say 43-year-old Jewel Williams, of West Brighton, sat next to a waiting passenger, announced a robbery and then shot the man in the side of the face.

The victim, 29-year-old Fisnik Hoxha, lost his cash and MetroCard, but he is recovering from the wound and is expected to survive.

Williams reportedly has a criminal record dating back to the 1990s and served two years in prison for robbery in 2004.
