A raging house fire in Westchester County is being investigated as suspicious.

Flames engulfed the house in Mount Vernon as firefighters arrived late Friday night.

The deputy chief on scene says they believe it started with mattresses leaning against a fence that then spread to the house.

A neighbor says he saw flames and alerted the people living there to leave. Residents say everyone got out safely.

At least three people have been displaced.

No injuries were reported.
