Queens car fire threatens gas pumps

Firefighters stopped a car fire at a gas station in Queens from spreading to nearby pumps.

The car caught fire during maintenance work while parked at a Gulf Station on Van Dam Street just before 4 a.m.

The vehicle was parked away from the gas pumps.

Firefighters put out the flames before they spread.

No injuries were reported.
