Baby deer rescued from Long Island manhole

A baby deer was rescued after falling into a manhole in Suffolk County Thursday night.

Landscapers notified police after noticing the deer in the 20 foot manhole.

After officers tested the environment in the manhole, they were able to rescued the deer with a harness.

The deer was crying, but upon being rescued ran back into the woods seeming unscathed.
