The accident happened around 3:00 a.m. on Gorge Road in /*Edgewater*/.
Police tell us the 2006 GMC SUV went over the cliff and landed on the patio of an apartment on Thompson Lane.
The 37-year-old driver from Fairview, New Jersey was killed. His name has not been released.
Investigators are working to determine what led to the accident.
