Two women were injured, one critically, when a suspected car thief crashed into their car while trying to elude police.

The chase began early Sunday morning in Pelham Manor, where police were pursuing a stolen Dodge Durango.

Officers chased the suspect through Yonkers and then into the Eastchester section of the Bronx.

The suspect crashed into a police car set up at a roadblock, then crashed head-on into a car heading in the opposite direction, with the two women inside.

Both were taken to Jacobi Medical Center, with one in critical condition.

The driver of the stolen SUV suffered minor injuries.

The women were health care workers on their way to work at a nearby nursing home.
