3-alarm fire burned through Douglaston home

Firefighters battled a three-alarm fire in a private home in Douglaston, Queens.

The two-story home at 39-12 Douglaston Parkway was fully engulfed in flames and neighboring homes had some minor damage.

The fire started at 7:50 p.m. and was out by 10 p.m.

The home was under renovation and an extension was being added. That's where the fire started.

Two people suffered minor injuries.
