Turning trash into artwork

NEW YORK

For one man in the Bronx that saying couldn't be truer.

He's taking trash and creating art and making quite a name for himself in the process.

Christian Marche is 33 years old.

He is a welder for the MTA who works on the subway tracks.

Then about 4 years ago, he started making chairs out of discarded public phones, heads out of license plates and toy cars.

He now works both jobs and admits he can't help himself.

He has an installation called "Silver" on Fordham Road in the /*Bronx*/.

If you would like to help fund the artwork contact the Fordham Road Business Improvement district or visit http://www.luckyant.com.
