A man was randomly attacked and stabbed in the buttocks inside a deli in Queens.

The attack happened on Sunday, September 9th at 5:45 p.m. inside the deli on 63 Road in Forest Hills.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video following a man inside the deli and then stabbing him several times in the buttocks.

The suspect then immediately ran out of the store.

"It was painful, I still can't step on my right foot," said "Tom", the stabbing victim.

Eyewitness News is calling him "Tom", because he's too afraid to give his real name or show his face, that's because police are still looking for the man in the white t-shirt who followed Tom into a deli and then, without warning, in a matter of seconds, stabbed him multiple times.

"It felt sort of like that feeling a mosquito bites you, it was fast it was five times," Tom said.

Five striking blows, Tom shows Eyewitness News, to his lower back and behind.

"I realized I would say the third stab, I realized, (That you were being stabbed?) Yeah," Tom said.

Tom lives not far from the deli on 63rd Road.

It was just before 6 in the evening when, just seconds before the attack, the 48 year old sensed, something wasn't right.

"I had a feeling, I was being watched, something like that, but I never paid attention," Tom said.

He did not get a look at the suspect's face before the stabbing, but did get a glimpse right after.

The little boy you see Tom talking to in the video is his 2 1/2 year old nephew.

"Now he has a problem sleeping because he saw all of this, that's what I worry about most," Tom said.

Friends of the victim, including the man who owns a Manhattan barber shops, also have no idea who the suspect is or why he would hurt the father of three.

"I'm always friendly, don't know why it's happened to me," Tom said.

Police say this is a random attack.

Tom believes someone sent the suspect there, to teach him a lesson.

"Why? I don't know, I'm trying to figure it out," Tom said.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 30-40 years old, 6'2", 220 lbs., and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, grey sweat pants, black hat and black sneakers.

Anyone with information in regards is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
