But this week, a family classic gets released again in 3-D and a possible Oscar contender reaches just a handful of theaters.
"The Master" will be admired more than loved, as it is not entertaining in the conventional sense.
Entertainment reporter Sandy Kenyon didn't like it near as much as some other critics, but it is likely going to be an Oscar contender thanks to the power of its performances.
That is particularly true for Joaquin Phoenix.
