A Greenwich Village restaurant owner is being sued by newlyweds who say he canceled their wedding party because they are gay.

Barrett Greene and Thomas Eng say the owner of Amber Village violated their civil rights.

The New York Daily News says he took a deposit for a wedding rehearsal dinner for 40 and a reception for 200 in March.

But he reportedly later canceled, saying that gay parties would bring bad luck to the restaurant.
