A Long Island Rail Road escalator that's been out of commission since the death of an 88-year-old woman is back in service Tuesday.

The woman fell down the escalator and died in March at the station in Lindenhurst.

Since then, investigators took a look at all 19 escalators at LIRR stations.

Six of them remain out of service.
