Transportation to the Start:
The start of the ING New York City Marathon is on Staten Island, at the foot of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. The organizers strongly recommend that entrants take ING New York City Marathon official transportation to the start. Official transporation was available to all those who signed up before July 31, 2012. Runners can check on their selected transportation, and find out more about getting to the starting line here.
