Video released of Cypress Hills home invasion suspects

NEW YORK

Police have released surveillance video of the suspects outside the house on Nichols Avenue in Cypress Hills.

The incident happened on Saturday around 8:30 p.m., when the two suspects forced their way into the home at gunpoint and demanded money.

The homeowner, a 57-year-old woman, refused, even though she had a gun pointed at her.

The suspects fled on foot.

The victim told police that both suspects were at the residence the day prior, inquiring about an apartment.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 30 years old, standing 6-foot-2 and weighing 230 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, close cut hair, a goatee and a medium skin complexion. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers and a blue baseball hat.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20 years old, standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 175 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, close cut hair with sideburns and a medium skin complexion. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweat jacket, brown shorts and white sneakers. He also had a black hand gun in his possession.
