Authorities say 21-year-old Joshua Nunez killed 29-year-old Charles Fernandez, of Manhattan, on the Lower East Side on October 7.
The incident apparently started as a dispute in the barber shop, and the argument spilled out into the street.
Fernandez managed to put himself in a cab to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Nunez is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
