A neighborhood banded together to rescue a dog that got hit by a car and then fell down a storm drain in Ohio.

Residents pulled together to rescue Wizz.

The chihuahua's back legs were broken, and he couldn't move on his own.

Ashley Morris, his owner, used a coat hanger to try and hook his collar.

After an hour and a half, and more than a dozen tries, Wizz was successfully rescued.

The pooch is expected to make a full recovery.
