Police swarm towing company accused of gouging

Authorities swarmed a towing company in New Jersey Thursday night.

Search warrants were executed APK Towing in Toms River. The company is being investigated for possible price gouging.

The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says it has received several complaints about APK illegally towing car and then charging owners to get them back.

Authorities ask anyone who received a bill from APK for services in Seaside Heights to contact them.

In New York, police have arrested four unlicensed tow operators. They remain on the lookout for more.
