Israel and Hamas

Bill Ritter's daily take on the news.

November 19, 2012 1:28:25 PM PST

It's what is needed immediately, and yet it's hard to imagine it happening in the current dust up between Hamas and Israelis. Our N.J. Burkett is in Israel, where incoming rockets continue from Hamas, and where outgoing Israeli air strikes continue to be launched.

The death toll as of this writing is 3 Israelis and 100 Palestinians.

We'll have the latest, tonight at 11.

Also at 11, we'll have the latest in the slow and not-always-fair recovery from the disaster of Sandy. There are reports of homeowners having all sorts of problems with insurance, and we're looking at public housing residents having huge problems with FEMA.

We're also in Brooklyn, where the third shopkeeper in the past four months has been killed with the same gun. Cops now looking for a serial killer.

We'll also have any breaking news of the night, plus Meteorologist Lee Goldberg's AccuWeather forecast, and Rob Powers with the night's sports. I hope you can join Sade Baderinwa and me, tonight at 11.
