Police have made an arrest in a string of armed robberies in Brooklyn and Manhattan .

An anonymous crime stoppers tip led investigators to 47-year-old Robert Coston of Brooklyn.

He's charged with first-degree robbery for the armed hold-ups of at least 10 ice cream shops and Subway restaurants in Brooklyn since mid-October.

Charges are pending for another armed robbery, at a movie theater on Manhattan's Upper East Side earlier this month.
