Parents outraged after kids let into damaged areas

NEW YORK

At an emergency meeting at PS 114 in Belle Harbor Wednesday night, parents were told that students had spent two days in an auditorium with raw sewage damage.

Officials insist air quality tests showed the school was safe, but parents had been complaining of residual sewage being pumped through unclean vents.

They pointed to bubbling paint on the walls and much caked onto the auditorium seats.

The section was cordoned off Wednesday.
