Upper West Side fire leaves man unconscious

UPPER WEST SIDE

The fire started in an apartment in the Frederick Douglass Houses on the Upper West Side at about 9:00 Sunday night.

Rescue crews found a man unconscious in the bathroom of the burning apartment.

The man was revived and rushed to the hospital. His condition is not known at this time.

No other injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
