The Sheepshead Bay Public Library reopens Tuesday for the first time since Superstorm Sandy.

The New York Daily news says the storm pushed three feet of water inside the library, causing roughly $1 million in damage.

Some other Brooklyn public libraries are also preparing to reopen after the storm.

The Coney Island branch saw the worst damage, and it could be a year before it reopens.
