The challengers said Dominick should be kicked off the ballot because he owes the town license and permit fees from work done on his property and from a business venture. But the judges found no evidence to back those claims.
"I think the voters, at least in Cicero, should be glad that they get a choice of as many candidates who are qualified for the office," Michael Kasper, Dominick's attorney, said.
"If you were a resident who didn't pay a bill, you would be prohibited running for office, and so should Larry Dominick," David Donahue, candidate, said.
The challenges were filed by Juan Ochoa, who is running against Dominick, and by Donahue, a candidate for town collector.
