But in December, moments after implementing a fare hike, Lhota quit his job as chairman of the MTA.
He's now running for New York City Mayor.
Lhota is a Bronx-born Republican, and served as former Mayor Rudy Giuliani's deputy mayor and budget director.
We'll ask him what a Lhota administration would be like.
