With a lot of snow comes a lot of sledding. Here are 7 tips to stay safe during sledding activities.

1) Most common injuries caused from sledding are fractures

2)Majority of injuries occur when children aren't paying attention while sledding

3) Make sure children are dressed properly and are wearing a helmet

4) Don't use snow discs and toboggans

5) Young children should be supervised by adults and really small children should have an adult on the sled with them

6) God downhill feet first and avoid sledding in areas with trees, fences or light poles

7) Choose hills that are snowy rather than icy. If you fall off your sled, icy slopes make for hard landings
