In each incident, police say the suspect entered a store, pretended to make a purchase and brandished a black firearm while demanding cash.
He then fled with an undetermined amount of cash and property.
There were no reported injuries.
The robberies took place February 14th at the New Museum Deli on Columbus Avenue, February 18th at a Dunkin Donuts on 9th Avenue, March 8th at a One Stop Convenience Store on 1st Avenue, and March 11th at News & Discount Convenience Store on 1st Avenue.
Investigators describe the suspect as a male Hispanic, "5'7 - 5'8", 170-190 pounds, last seen wearing a blue denim jacket with a grey hooded sweat shirt.
