NYPD: Man poses as UPS worker in armed robbery

NEW YORK

The pair was caught on camera leaving a building near West 133rd Street in Morningside Heights last week.

Police say they'd just tied up three people in an apartment and robbed them.

They apparently forced their way in after one of the suspects pretended to be a UPS worker.

The suspects fled with an undetermined amount of cash and property and took off in a silver Nissan Quest.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, approximately 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall and weighing 180 to 220 pounds, wearing what appears to be a UPS uniform with brown vest, brown long sleeved button down shirt, brown knit hat and blue jeans.

The second suspect fits the exact same description, but wearing gray sweat pants, gray hooded sweatshirt, baseball hat with a gray brim, white sneakers and carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
