Brooklyn apartment fire leaves 3 injured
NEW YORK
It happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday at a 7-story residential building at 869 Flushing Avenue.
The fire was confined to a single apartment on the seventh floor.
One person jumped from the apartment, and was taken to Elmhurst Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Two others were transported to Woodhull Hospital with minor injuries.
The fire was under control within 45 minutes.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
