The NYPD has released surveillance video authorities hope will lead to the arrest of a rapist who has now attacked a second woman in Brooklyn.

The latest attack was in Bushwick on Saturday, April 6.

Police say the suspect approached a 37-year-old woman from behind, pressed an unknown object against her back, demanded money and went through her pockets. The victim said she did not have any money, and the suspect then raped her.

Police believe the same man molested and tried to rape another woman in an earlier attack in the same general area on February 1.

In that incident, authorities say the suspect approached a 39-year-old woman from behind, pushed her to the ground and grabbed her buttocks and breasts over her clothing. The victim fought off the suspect, who then fled on foot.

He is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, standing about 5-foot-10 and weighing 165 pounds with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
